About

Erin graduated from St Ignatius Secondary College at the end of 2020 before joining the Forefront Physiotherapy Geelong team in 2023. All throughout high school, Erin had a keen desire to become a physiotherapist as she loved the idea of helping people and encouraging injured people to become more active.

During her spare time, Erin loves to move her body by running and doing pilates. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Career

Upon finishing high school, Erin begun her Bachelor of Applied Movement Sciences/Master of Physiotherapy degree at Victoria University in Footscray. She has found studying physiotherapy to be busy and hard work but extremely rewarding.

Working at Forefront Physio has helped Erin learn about the behind the scenes of the physiotherapy setting. Her role as a receptionist has helped her develop communication skills with both patients and physiotherapists which will benefit her throughout her future career and general life. Erin is unsure where her degree will take her as physiotherapy is such a broad scope of practice. She is hence eagerly awaiting her placements to gain a better understanding of different physiotherapy settings before she decides where she wants to end up working.
